R-10490 Medium silicone sponge rubber is a fluorosilicone closed-cell sponge that can be used in most gasketing applications. This material is flexible and compressible and designed for use in extreme temperature rages, with excellent weatherability, compression set resistance, electrical strength and non-stick properties. R-10490 is often chosen as the material of choice for applications containing oils and fluids that would degrade normal elastomers.
