PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene consisting of carbon and fluorine.

Water and water-containing cannot wet PTFE. PTFE has one of the lowest coefficients of friction against any solid.

 

NA1500 Virgin PTFE Sheet
