PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene consisting of carbon and fluorine.

Water and water-containing cannot wet PTFE. PTFE has one of the lowest coefficients of friction against any solid.

 

NA1500 Virgin PTFE Sheet
Can handle virtually all chemicals in the 0-14 pH range with the exception of molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine
